Our school was established in 1991.When does the school year start? The first day of school is generally the 3rd or 4th week of August. The last day of school is the Friday before Memorial Day. What is the official start and end time of school? The school day begins at 8:00am. All students are to be in their homeroom by 8:00am. The school day ends at 2:55pm. Do the students have a Dress Code? Yes, the students wear the following: Elementary & High School Boys wear navy or tan khaki pants with a polo shirt (red, navy, white or light blue). Elementary girls wear navy or tan skirts to the knee; plaid or navy jumpers. Polo shirts (red, navy, white or light blue). Gym Uniforms of Patriot shirt & shorts for grades 6-12th are provided through tuition. See Student handbook for complete dress code information.How are students prepared for emergencies? All students participate in monthly fire drills and other emergency drills for various situations. Does VFBA offer a hot lunch program?Yes, VFBA offers a hot lunch meal to all students K-12th, in which they can order daily Monday-Thursday, and then a pizza fundraiser lunch on Fridays, which is offered on behalf of the Senior Class. Prices for the lunch program items range from $.75 to $4.50. Parents set up a Prepay accounts through FACTS.How do I pay my school bill? All payments are processed electronically through FACTS. Tuition, Incidental Billing & Fees can be paid either pay in full or in 10 monthly payments from August 1-May 1. These options are selected during the Enrollment process.Are scholarships available? Yes, we offer scholarships through EITC for those who qualify.Why must we be a member of VFBT or churches of like faith in order to enroll our child at VFBA?Our school is an extension of the home and church. Our main interest is to help the home raise children that will honor and please God.What colleges do the students attend?Our students attend and or have attended an array of different colleges such as: Pensacola Christian College, Lancaster Bible College, West Coast Baptist College, Bob Jones University, Eastern, Cedarville, Maranatha, Palm Beach Atlantic, Biola University, Penn State, Temple University, Grove City, Liberty, Messiah and Carin University.What makes Valley Forge Baptist Academy unique? Our academy is a discipleship ministry of our church. Our goal is to grow each child spiritually, emotionally and academically. One way that we do this is through Christian service. All of our Jr. and Sr. high students are required to complete Christian service throughout the year. We also require that the students attend our church or a church of like faith.
